Tonci Peovic

Our expert in airport management, Tonči Peović, has a lifetime of experience in the aviation industry. This all started with obtaining his flying license (Commercial Pilot License with IFR ratings) and in the following career he developed as an expert in airport-related processes. In addition to his period as director of Dubrovnik and Zagreb airports, he was not only a ‘certified auditor of ICAO’ but also active in the international consultancy organizations ACI and ACARE, where he played an active role in developing new visions on the aviation industry. He was recently appointed as ‘Court expert for aviation in the list of Court experts on Croatian courts’

Tonči Peović is part of a large network of professionals in the aviation world. His engaging personality combined with extensive knowledge makes him a good conversation partner. This is why he is a welcome member of committees and consultation organizations. This is also reflected in his appointment as Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Norway in Dubrovnik.

Smart Aviation Group is very honored that Tonči Peović is willing to represent the group in the European Commission’s Expert Group on Climate Change Policy formation ‘aviation’. He will work towards the goals set by the European Union regarding the decarbonisation of aviation and will support our members in applying the best solutions.
